While His children sleep
In quiet stillness of night,
God paints purity.

Marie Elena
This is not a black-and-white photo. This is Keith's un-retouched color photo of our Chinese Red Maple during last night's exquisite snowfall.
Questions posed by this little vignette:
ReplyDelete1.) Why isn't Keith doing this professionally?
2.) Why isn't Marie doing this more often than she
has been? (The Gorgeous Miss Sophie, not
withstanding)
3.) What is it about Great Lake water that spawns
such incredible talent?
4.) Has anyone seen the remote control, so I can
turn the TV off and watch the snow fall outside
MY window and be as inspired?
I love these collaborations between the Good people in my sphere of influence. It does a heart "good" to see. Great job, Keith and Marie!
Awww ... thank you so much, Partner!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to show Keith your comment. It will make his day. There is nothing he would enjoy more than quitting his day job and earning a living off photography. But you know how unrealistic that is. :(
And speaking of which, I seem to recall that YOU are ALSO a great photographer. Howzaboutz posting more photo-inspired poetry yourownself? Eh? Just sayin'... ;)
Yeah, I know the reality of that all too well. If only we could. This screenplay would be going so much better with that in mind.
ReplyDeleteOh...all right! I'll see what I can come up with on this end. ;)
BTW, is that 53 I see?
ReplyDeleteNot 'til October. Don't rush me.
ReplyDeleteOh, THAT 53! I see! I see! ;)
:)))))))))))))))))))))
ReplyDeleteVery nice haiku.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda!
